Husband-and-Wife Teamwork

As a husband-and-wife team, Adam and Kirsten serve their clients with true passion and purpose.

“I love crafting deals and putting them together … finding solutions and helping people that have a need and being able to get creative and put deals together,”

Adam explains. “Clients aren’t just looking for a house. They’re looking for a place that will mean something for the next chapter of their lives. There’s a need and it’s our job to find the solution.”

As Kirsten says, “I love helping clients find a house that they can make a home … seeing the potential and seeing it come to life … restoring something to its beauty for the next stage of their lives.”

Finding a New Home

Adam and Kirsten grew up in the Pacific Northwest. They moved to Texas in 2014. Before they got into real estate, they had success taking another path.

Adam worked in corporate America in sales, and Texas was part of his territory. “With Kirsten’s design business we thought it would be a good idea for one of us to get into real estate, so I got my license in 2017 and started with Keller Williams,”

Adam says. “I decided I really liked it and could make a career out of it. In early 2018, I tried to figure out what I could generate business from. I worked with expired listings and knocked on doors.”

Natural Fit

“When Adam got into the business, I would come in and help them get their homes ready for listing. When he joined the Cheney Group, he mentioned me to Jeff Cheney,” Kirsten explains.

“He had never had a designer on the team. He brought me in to talk with the team and asked if I would consider doing some staging for him. I realized I also needed to get my license in 2019.”

Made For This

Adam and Kirsten clearly have a passion for sharing the same path in life and business. Kirsten is the team’s designer for listing preparations, and has her own design business — Kirsten Lile Interiors.

“I understand what he’s doing, because we’re going through the journey together each day. We complement each other,” Kirsten says. “He is good with numbers and negotiating and I am not … so I enjoy us both sharing our strengths.”

The signs of their success have been plentiful. In fact, in 2021, they recorded $40 million in sales volume.

Family Foundation

Away from real estate, Adam and Kirsten look forward to time spent with their children — 17-year-old daughter, Taylor; and 15-year-old son, Jackson.

In their free time, Adam and Kirsten enjoy getting away on vacation. Last year, they bought a lake house in Oklahoma that they have remodeled. “We love going there to relax with friends and family,” Kirsten says.

When it comes to giving back, Adam and Kirsten are involved in supporting K Life North Dallas — a non-denominational youth ministry, an organization that provides food to students in need.

Going The Distance

Those who know Adam and Kirsten appreciate the fact that they can count on them to go the distance with them through the deal and beyond.

“We try to leave people full of integrity. When we say we’re going to do something, we do,” Adam says. “Relationships matter. People matter over things. We are serving our clients for them … not for the house … it’s for their dreams and families.”

In the process, they are quick to share their gratitude for those around them who have helped them reach new levels of success. “We really appreciate the teamwork we have on the Cheney Group,” Adam emphasizes. “There is no way we could be as successful as we are without the people on the team. That is a key component.”

Day by day, Adam and Kirsten take their role very seriously. They pour themselves into the people around them … pushing forward to help those they serve reach their goals … with passion and purpose.
